Queensland has reported two new Covid cases amid fears the latest outbreak could plunge the state back into lockdown.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk announced on Tuesday a 19-year-old woman and a three-year-old girl had tested positive to the virus.
The new infections come after a single case – a woman aged in her 50s – was recorded on Monday after spending 10 days infectious in the community.
‘If you have any symptoms please come out and get tested,’ Ms Palaszczuk said.
‘As we know the virus can pop up at any time. So please go and get vaccinated.’
