LA County Sheriff’s Department fired deputy who had ‘X-rated encounter’ in car while on duty
A Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputy who was caught having sex at Universal Studios while on duty last year, has reportedly been fired.
The deputy, who has not been identified, accidentally left his microphone on while he and a woman shared an ‘x-rated encounter’ in his squad car — which was parked on the studio backlot near the Bates Motel.
He was placed on leave while an administrative investigation was underway.
Law enforcement sources confirmed to TMZ on Wednesday that the investigation had concluded and the deputy’s employment was terminated.
The deputy has the right to appeal the firing, but at this time it remains unclear if he plans to do so.

A Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputy who was caught having sex near the Bates Motel at Universal Studios while on duty was reportedly fired this week
The deputy first made headlines last December when a minute-long recording of the encounter was published on TMZ.
In the clip, a woman is heard giggling and saying: ‘Oh. Oh, my goodness!’
A female dispatcher tries to alert the deputy of his ‘open mic’ as the woman’s sex sounds continue.
’95 Ocean, you have an open mic,’ the dispatcher states. ’95 Ocean, you have an open mic — take care of mic.’
The message goes unanswered as the cop’s companion continues to moan.
The woman’s wails get louder and louder, before the clip cuts out.

The sexual encounter occurred while the theme park was closed amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The cop was ‘immediately relieved of duty’ following the incident and an investigation was opened.
The LA County Sheriff’s Office did not immediately respond to DailyMail.com’s request for comment.
However, the department did release a statement to TMZ Wednesday confirming the ‘administrative investigation has concluded’ and that they were ‘unable to share further detail at this time.
In a statement provided to TMZ, the department said: ‘Sheriff Alex Villanueva (pictured) takes allegations of misconduct very seriously and expects peace officers to hold themselves to the highest moral and ethical standards’
‘But, what we can say is Sheriff Alex Villanueva takes allegations of misconduct very seriously and expects peace officers to hold themselves to the highest moral and ethical standards,’ the statement read.
The deputy’s termination follows another inappropriate encounter involving a Wisconsin police officer and a woman who were also allegedly caught having sex in an unmarked squad car.
The Madison officer, who has not been identified, was placed on paid leave last month after a bystander recorded video of the encounter.
The bystander — identified as Marcel Scott — claimed he was walking into a grocery store on September 16 when he noticed a car parked off to side in the employee lot.
‘I was stunned at first. I was paused, and then I grabbed my phone out and I recorded it,’ Scott told ABC 12.
‘If we can’t do it, what gives him the right to do it.’
Some community members alleged that the officer’s companion was a prostitute, however Madison Police Department Chief Shon Barnes stated that those claims were false.
‘We take the matter of human trafficking very seriously, and I can assure the community that the individual involved in this incident has been contacted and that this individual is not, I repeat is not a prostitute, nor is there any evidence that the individual has a history of ever being a prostitute,’ Barnes told NBC 15.
An investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
